Shiwei Zhang has joined Rutgers as a Visiting Professor and Associate Member of the Graduate Faculty, enabling him to mentor graduate students and serve on committees.
Shiwei is a Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Computational Quantum Physics and Chancellor Professor at William & Mary. An accomplished researcher and Cornell Ph.D. alum, his pioneering work in quantum Monte Carlo methods addresses key problems in condensed matter and materials physics. He joins Rutgers with multiple awards and Fellow status in the American Physical Society, bringing a wealth of expertise to our academic community.
