David Huse

David Huse is a professor of physics at Princeton University, specializing in statistical physics, phase transitions, quantum many-body physics, and related topics. After receiving his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1982, he worked at Bell Laboratories until 1996 before joining Princeton. His research includes many-body localization, ultracold atoms, magnetic ordering in materials and spin models, superconductivity, and out-of-equilibrium quantum dynamics. Huse is an elected fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), as well as a member of the National Academy of Sciences. In 2022, he received the Lars Onsager Prize from APS. He has authored over 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
